Philadelphia - The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau promot- ed Svetlana Yazovskikh to the position of Executive Director of Tourism. Svetlana has worked at the PHLCVB since 2008, most recently as the senior international tourism manager where she had over- seen sales and market activities for the bureau's key overseas visitor markets. In her new role she will lead the tourism team in raising Philadelphia's profile as a global destination for overseas interna- tional leisure travel as well as domestic group travel.


Philadelphia - GF Management announced that Joseph Del Guidice has been promoted to President. Joe joined GF Management 16 months ago as the senior vice president of operations, and his past experience included hotels in all market tiers - from luxury to upscale select-service, with leading brands in the Marriott, Hilton, InterContinental, Carlson and Starwood families.
