The Connecticut Convention Center recently got a $2.5 million
refresh that included carpet, public space furniture, new technol- ogy throughout the building, and the addition of a box office.
Dunkin’ Donuts Park will open in April for the start of the 2017 Eastern League baseball season - home to the Hartford Yard Goats. The 6,000-seat park will serve as a great option for
attendees who want to catch a game or it can even play host events. In addition, two new hotels will open downtown this
spring: the boutique Goodwin Hotel (March), and Candlewood Suites Hartford Downtown (April).
