Location is a key factor in Wilmington’s popularity for meetings. The gateway to the Brandywine Valley, the city is situated along Interstate-95 midway between New York and Washington, DC. It is less than 30 minutes south of Philadelphia International Airport and more than 80 trains, including the high-speed Acela Express, stop at the Wilmington Amtrak Station daily.


Greater Wilmington hotels and the Chase Center on the Riverfront offer plenty of conventional meeting space, but the area also boasts an assortment of very unique venues. These include the DuPont Environmental Education Center and The Delaware Contemporary at the Wilmington river- front, along with The Queen, The Grand, and Hotel du Pont in downtown Wilmington.


Chase Center on the Riverfront is home to more than 87,000-square feet of versatile space for hosting corporate meetings and conferences, shows and conventions, as well as social celebrations. The Chase Center's spacious meeting rooms, complete with audio-visual capabilities, a 250 fixed-seat auditorium, dedicated open exhibit space and two beautifully appointed ballrooms, are complement- ed by excellent culinary creations alongside impeccable service.
