Worcester County has so much to offer groups, including: a boardwalk that has been rated in the top ten in the U.S., two state parks, a national seashore, a state scenic river, coastal bays perfect for recreation, an award-winning discovery cen- ter, the “Coolest Small Town” in America, multiple breweries, a brand-new distill- ery, and of course, the Atlantic Ocean!


There are lots of new hotels and additions to existing hotels both in and outside of Ocean City. Some of these include a Fairfield Inn and Suites that just opened last year, a Marriott Residence Inn opening this May, and an Aloft Hotel opening bay- side in 2018. West Ocean City just had the opening of two hotels last year - a Holiday Inn Express and a Microtel Inn.


A state-of-the-art performing arts center is available for seminars, speakers, meet- ings and entertainment within the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City. While in Worcester, a trip to Assateague Island National Seashore provides an amazing experience. Ranger-led programs are available here that are great for everyone, not just the outdoorsy types - everything from doing a little clamming to enjoying a hike on a board-walked trail.
