After several member changes, the band finds itself with their most complete lineup to date, set to bring aggressive, melodic and exciting music. Their second EP, Lividity consists of some of their most impressive material to date, jam-packed with fast-paced, foot-stomping riffs, and a great example of the band’s passion for melody, songwriting and an energetic live performance. A distinct and unique approach to metal, accompanied by a high intensity live show, has provided great opportunities for the band. Recorded at: home studios, Regina. Produced by: Kelevra. More:

SNAKE RIVER: Sun Will Rise Set in the fictional town of Snake River Mountain, Sun Will Rise is the third in a series. Continuing the narrative previously set out, this LP hones in on the internal dialogue of its protagonist - author Reginald McKruski. Excising lyrics from conversations, a letter, and embellished memories, the events captured through these songs take place between Feb 2-23, 1989. It’s darker and heavier, yet more melodic and elaborate than the two previous LPs. Taking pop cues from XTC and Robyn Hitchcock, tonal inspi- ration from the guitar sounds of Television and My Bloody Valentine, and a deadpan vocal delivery reminiscent of Joy Division or Ought. Recorded at: Snake River Mountain Town Hall. Produced by: Christopher Sleightholm. More:

SLOW DOWN MOLASSES: 100% Sunshine In past years SDM felt more like a loose collective than a band, with various friends and peers chipping in to help bring singer/guitarist Tyson McShane’s musical vision to life. That’s changed with 100% Sunshine, as the musicians who toured behind 2015’s Burnt Black Cars also play on the new record (McShane, Jordan Kurtz, Chris Morin, Aaron Scholz, Levi Sou- lodre and Jeanette Stewart). Produced by Chad Munson and mixed in Glasgow by Tony Doogan (known for his work with Mogwai and Belle & Sebastian), it channels the bleaker side of indie rock, evoking shoe gaze, dream-pop, psychedelic rock and darkwave at once. Recorded at: various, Saskatoon. Produced by: Chad Munson. More:
