On February 14-15/2017, DICK MACINNIS releases “Black and Blue”, his first full length album since 2009’s “Everything You’ve Heard About Love,” and the long-awaited second installment in his “Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll” trilogy. It is the quintessential “breakup album” having been written while MacInnis was in the process of divorce, addiction, and subsequent recovery from both. MacInnis will be per- forming the new album in its entirety, as well as many past and unre- leased hits, at the special two night album release show at Bud’s on Broadway, Saskatoon (

JADIUS has begun recording a new full-length album at Studio One with Jason Plumb, with a first single anticipated to be released in February/March. Jadius is teaming up with JJ Voss for the ”No Gig Too Far Tour” this spring/summer ; the two will be playing solo sets, and will also be doing some duets. The Western leg will be in May and the Eastern leg in June. And, inspirational pop ballad “The View” is current- ly being promoted to European radio (

With masterful musicianship, energetic rhythms, and a passion for fiddle and pipe tunes, Saskatchewan-based and Nova Scotia-named WEST OF MABOU released their self-titled album at Regina’s Creative City Centre with sold-out nights January 14-15.
