“We also understand how busy our clients’ lifestyles are which is why we have a 24-hour online booking system which allows them to make appointments whenever and wherever they are. Plus with treatments varying from 15 minutes to 85 minutes, we offer the flexibility that they can still treat themselves no matter how much time they have.”
What makes your salon experience unique? “Everything within the salon has been designed to give a Spa-like feel from the quality products that we use to the treatment room design, but we still have the convenience of a local salon and at an affordable price. Our pedicure area is a hit with our clients, as they can relax in our wing back armchairs whilst having a pedicure and watching the world go by.”
What is important to you when choosing a product range or piece of equipment? “The quality of the product and does it do what it says it will. We recently invested in a CACI machine. Due to over 20 years medical research and seeing the results it can offer, we had no concerns that this would not deliver the results our clients are looking for and the standards we want to maintain.”
Why did you decide to introduce CACI treatments to the salon’s menu? “We have seen a huge increase in clients having Botox™
and fillers over the last
five years. Ageing is definitely one of the biggest concerns clients have and we wanted to be able to offer the ultimate in anti-ageing without them having to take the next step into injectables or surgery.”
Looking ahead, do you have any plans for the future of the salon? “From November 2015 to January 2016 we have introduced three new treatments – CACI facial treatments (launched November), Lash Perfect Lash Extensions (launched December) and Decléor Vital Eyes Treatment (launched January).
“We like to attend as many beauty shows as possible to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and treatments. At the moment we have no plans to launch any further treatments, however we are always on the lookout for more ways to enhance our clients’ experience.”
Do you have any words of advice for securing a salon’s success? “Listen to your staff and listen to your clients, their opinion is the most important! Without your clients or your staff you would have no business so listen to them, appreciate them and develop their ideas.
“Also, happy staff equals happy customers. Treat them once in a while... chocolate seems to work wonders with the Lavella team!”
With a host of devotees including celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez, CACI treatments enjoy a dedicated following worldwide. Lavella Beauty & Wellbeing only introduced the brand’s offerings in November, yet has already seen an increase in interest from both existing fans of CACI and those clients keen to experience the results for the very first time.

Falling in the latter category, I was especially eager to try the CACI Non Surgical Face Lift. This advanced, non- invasive facial delivers visible results by using tiny electrical impulses which work to lift and tone the facial muscles, whilst improving the skin’s elasticity and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
After a detailed consultation and settling on the couch, my therapist Sian began the 55-minute treatment by thoroughly cleansing the skin before applying a gel concentrate to the neck, jaw line, chin and around the mouth. Explaining that this would help with both conductivity and glide, Sian then deployed the machine’s specially designed probes to work along these areas. Using a series of different movements, techniques and strokes, these actions work in combination to lift, hold and release leading to re-education of the muscle.
The stylish manicure area.
Following this, Sian moved to the upper part of the facial contours. This section of the treatment’s protocol focussed on the cheeks, forehead and hairline, and once again utilised the machine’s probes with varying techniques and strokes in order to produce a toning effect.
I had previously mentioned that I was particularly concerned with the deeper lines beginning to show around my mouth. So in order to help address these, Sian placed the system’s pads here for an intense targeted action.
For the final touch, the brand’s popular Amino-Lift Peptide Complex was applied to complement and enhance the treatment effects. This anti-ageing product combines powerful peptides and amino acids for anti-ageing results.
The salon’s treatment rooms embrace a Spa-like feel.
Throughout the duration of the treatment, Sian diligently made sure I felt comfortable with the pressure being applied and in fact, the overall process felt extremely relaxing. Even though a series of treatments is recommended, after just a single session my skin was noticeably smoother, plumper and firmer. I can certainly understand why ladies, gents and numerous famous faces come back for more.
