Renaissance Skincare & Beauty has won the title of ‘Employer of the Year 2015’ at the Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards, whilst team member Diane Wilson was named as finalist in ‘Employee of the Year’.
Edward Perry, Chair of the Knowsley Place Board and Director of Operations for Knowsley Hall and leader of the judging panel commented: “The awards provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people and organisations behind these success stories.”

New distributor for BeautyLab
Gerrard International has become the sole UK distributor of BeautyLab London for Spas, salons and key retailers in the UK, aiming to expand the brand’s breadth of treatment and the customer base across the UK.
“Gerrard International has an extensive portfolio of beauty brands – Jessica Nails, Mii Cosmetics, Kissed by Mii and Brow by Mii – establishing us as a leading professional supplier in the industry,” explains chairman Susan Gerrard. “Customer feedback revealed that skin care offered by Gerrard International would be a welcome addition to their current offerings. We’ve spent the past few years thoroughly researching skin care, ensuring we found the perfect line to complement our existing portfolio.”
Susan continues: “BeautyLab London was an obvious fit – delivering amazing formulations and excellent results for salon, Spa and clients. We will offer the same level of support to BeautyLab that we offer all our brands – from workshops, events, retail support and advice through to marketing and PR.”

The BeautyLab team worked backstage at last year’s X Factor series, delivering red carpet facials to winner Louisa Johnson and other finalists.
David Suzuki, President of Bio-Therapeutic, and Sallie Deitz, Director of Education for Bio- Therapeutic, recently visited the UK to launch Bio-Therapeutic skin care technology in all IDI and Dermalogica locations throughout the country.
“We are very excited and honoured that Bio- Therapeutic equipment has been chosen to be used in every International Dermal Institute in the UK and throughout the world,” David told GN.
The Bio-Therapeutic team spent two days with the IDI team educating them on the efficacy, science and mechanisms of action that support each technology, as well as advanced application techniques.
Bio-Therapeutic is now the official supplier of advanced technology for the IDI and Dermalogica globally.

Whilst in Europe, David also visited Norway to train local distributors Skintific, who are also the exclusive distributor for Dermalogica and Jane Iredale in Norway, as well as the team from Gimle skin care centre.
