probiotic skin care range Skinbrands have formed a new partnership with skin care brand mybody as part of key international distribution agreements in the UK, Malaysia, Canada and the Netherlands.
The brand is at the forefront of creating topical probiotic solutions for problematic skin conditions with a range of products addressing premature ageing, hypersensitivity and Acne-prone skin.
mybody was founded by CEO Christine Watson and skin care pioneer, David Watson. Christine began her career as a buyer at Harrods in London, whilst David previously launched skin care collection Philosophy® Biomedic®
as well as , one of the first medically dispensed skin care
lines distributed through plastic surgeons and dermatologists.

Mesoestetic introduced to aesthetic dermatologists
Mesoestetic Pharma Group recently held an event at their head offices in Barcelona, attended by Mesoestetic UK’s Adam Birtwistle and Sandra Birtwistle, along with two UK-based aesthetic dermatologists, Dr Samira Yousefi and Dr Alexis Granite.
The event saw the launch of Acnelan, a method developed in collaboration with a prestigious group of specialist dermatologists to offer maximum efficacy and safety in the treatment of Acne skins.
Those attending experienced a presentation in this new method conducted by Dr Manuel Asín and Dr Montserrat Sabán.

Double win at
Aesthetic Awards AestheticSource’s Caroline Gwilliam has won The Janeeé Parsons Award for Sales Representative of the Year, supported by Healthxchange Pharmacy, at the Aesthetic Awards 2015.
A new one-stop webshop,
www.beautysalonequipment.co.uk, has been launched by PJS Direct.
The site includes all the PJS Direct and Beauty Deals Direct ranges of furnishings and salon equipment plus the full REM hairdressing range and other well-known UK suppliers too such as Carlton Professional and Sterex.
Managing director Paul Matthes told GN: “Websites and webshops are evolving all the time and here at PJS Direct we wanted to launch an all-in-one equipment site that is not just easy to use but functional across all means of technology including laptops, mobile phones, tablets and smart TVs.”
PJS have used multiple images where possible and shown the colour options available, to enable clients to see exactly what they are ordering and can also set their budget for spend too.
The company’s Kent head office is still available for order taking, customer help and any service assistance.
Since joining AestheticSource, Caroline has used her experience and skills to build strong relationships with her customers and support their practices with her passion for people, products and education. “The award was totally unexpected – I’m part of a great team,” commented Caroline. “The award is for everyone at AestheticSource, as I could not have achieved it without all of these amazing people.”
The company also won ‘Best Cosmeceutical Range’ for NeoStrata. This is the second industry award for the brand, having recently won ‘Best Cosmeceutical Range’ for NeoStrata Skin Active in the MyFaceMyBody Awards.
