www.theprescott.com One of Leonard’s questions to

me was “what other subject matter interested me as a photographer?” My answer was historical architecture, and landscapes. Upon hearing that he told me that he had something to show me following our photoshoot and we continued taking photographs. The end of the session brought

about a social moment and a few more poses when he suggested he could prepare some corn on the cob from his garden. I continued to shoot him in his corn patch and preparing the snack and him enjoying his corn and a glass of milk. Who would have ever known that earlier that day he had had four wisdom teeth extracted! Before I called a cab to return

to my hotel, Leonard remembered he had something to show me and we walked two blocks from his house to a local corner store where he proudly pointed out a huge copper and brass cash register....... circa 1922. This machine was huge and a great visual statement. A roll of film later it was well documented and we walked back to his home. Throughout my career we had

the opportunity to work together several times and whenever there was a problem with his handlers or management identifying me I would tell them “just let Leonard know it’s the photographer that did his photo session on the day he had four wisdom teeth removed.”
