Baltimore’s newest foodie destination, Mount Vernon Marketplace, opened in October 2015. The indoor market cele- brates the best of culinary categories with hand-selected local experts and purveyors of food and drinks in the heart of historic Mount Vernon.


La Cuchara opened in May 2015 in Baltimore’s Meadow Mill complex, a for- mer manufacturing building. La Cuchara represents the Asadors and Pintxo bars of the Basque region of Northern Spain and Southern France with a menu that changes daily inspired by the simplicity of Basque cuisine. The 40 seat bar features a unique selection of Basque, Spanish and French wine, cocktails, and favorite local beers.


Cosima opened in January 2016 and is located inside the renovated boiler room of the Mill No. 1 building adjacent to the Hampden and Woodberry neighbor- hoods in Baltimore. Dining on Cosima’s outdoor patio offers incredible views of the historic Jones Falls waterway and features chef Donna Crivello’s take on Sicilian and Southern Italian cuisine.


Opened in March 2016 and located in the historic Gunther Boiler Building in Brewers Hill, Gunther and Co. offers a modern American menu, which is global- ly influenced and locally spun. Housing a main dining room beneath 30-foot ceil- ings, the 7,000-square foot restaurant is a composite of two main dining spaces complemented by several smaller rooms. A mezzanine level spans the length of the main dining room, hovering above an open kitchen.
