The National Aquarium boasts breathtaking views of the Inner Harbor along with five levels of award-winning exhibits and serves as a memorable and unique setting for special occasions. Home to 20,000 aquatic and marine animals, the aquarium offers something new to discover with every visit.

Whether outside or in, spacious locations are available on site for as few as five guests or as many as 3,000. The aquarium can host corporate events, meetings, team building sessions, fundraising galas, holiday parties, wed- dings and more, with a portion of the event fee going to support conservation education programs.

In addition, from compostable serving ware to sustainable menu selections, events at the National Aquarium are eco- friendly from start-to-finish, too.

Added value programming (like dolphin presentations and small group VIP Tours) is available contingent upon the space rental agreement for an additional fee. The aquari- um also provides a choice of two exclusive caterers:

Harbor Market Catering and The Classic Catering People, who handle food, beverage, bar, linens, and any specialty rentals needed.

Recently, the National Aquarium announced its intention to move beyond its walls and create a model urban water- front that connects people with water in new and innova- tive ways. It has set a goal in restructuring the area around piers 3 and 4 of Baltimore's Inner Harbor to encourage the local community and tourists alike to embrace their place and impact on the Chesapeake Bay and the world as a whole.

Its plans for the area include: creating a welcoming and engaging green space for everyone to enjoy; fostering stewardship and a vision of a healthier future by demon- strating how we all can work together to improve the well- being of the Inner Harbor; showcasing working ecosys- tems to help guests learn about habitat restoration, native species and water-quality; and helping guests understand the emotional and environmental benefits of citizen science projects.
