presentation is still enjoyable and you can offer a variety of food without incur- ring large expenses.”
Durland also reminds planners to book early. “Dates go really quickly, with the most preferred usually getting booked the fastest. We have many times open and multiple rooms for different sized groups.”
And, to make sure all types of diets are accommodated, Maggiano’s also is happy to offer many gluten free and vegan/vegetarian options during the hol- idays. “Our chefs excel at and enjoy cre- ating options for guests with any dietary restrictions.”
Situated on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, Britny Molloy, event sales coordinator for the Perelman Quadrangle, offers some information about the options available at their site for hosting holiday parties.
“Perelman Quadrangle is a collection of event facilities located on the University of Pennsylvania campus,” notes Molloy. “It serves as a meeting place and com- mon ground for the entire Penn commu- nity and guests. Our venues can accom- modate a variety of unique occasions at an affordable cost.We offer personalized service that has set the pace for business, social, cultural, academic and political sectors since 1896.”
Molloy notes that for upcoming holiday parties, themes continue to be a big hit for planners putting together their event, and the staff at Perelman Quadrangle is happy to help facilitate those ideas. “We see a lot of different themes come through year to year - anywhere from Harry Potter to your classic Winter Wonderland. I think this year we’ll see a lot of rustic and vintage looks, which fit perfectly in our beautifully main- tained historic buildings.”
To change up this year’s holiday party, Molloy suggests just being creative and says that you don’t necessarily have to break the bank, but look to resources
