PRAWNS WITH SPICED RICE
INGREDIENTS Standard Remoska 1 tbsp vegetable oil ½ tsp ground turmeric ½ tsp sweet paprika ½ tsp ground ginger 150g long grain rice 175g frozen peas, defrosted 300ml hot vegetable stock Salt and black pepper 175g prawns, defrosted if frozen
Grand Remoska 2 tbsp vegetable oil 1 tsp ground turmeric 1 tsp sweet paprika 1 tsp ground ginger 300g long grain rice 350g frozen peas, defrosted 600ml hot vegetable stock Salt and black pepper 350g prawns, defrosted if frozen
METHOD Put the oil, turmeric, paprika and ginger into the Remoska. Cook for 15 minutes. Add the rice, peas and stock, and stir to blend with the spices. Cook for approx. 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked. Season to taste. Add the prawns, stir in and cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
