VEGGIE STICKS
Grilling vegetables really brings out the true fl avours so vegetable kebabs are both healthy and delicious. They can be a meal in themselves although you can always add meat if you wish.
4 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp English mustard 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil 2 cloves of garlic, crushed Black pepper 8 button mushrooms 4 medium-sized onions 2 courgettes 1 large green pepper
1 large red pepper 1 large aubergine
1 In a large plastic bag, mix all the non- vegetable ingredients thoroughly and then add the vegetables and toss. The longer you marinate the vegetables the better they will taste but if it is a hot day, it is safer to start cooking them after 30–40 minutes.
2 Warm the grill and alternate the vegetables on skewers. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10–15 minutes, adding more marinade as needed. Delicious.

HOW TO CHOOSE A Camping St ove
❤ One pot dishes are perfect for camping, as they can be cooked with ease and involve very little washing up! While they can be cooked over open fi re, it’s also worth looking into camping stoves if you camp regularly or if you’re staying at a site where open fi res are banned.
❤ The type of stove you choose will depend on how many people you’re cooking for, the type of cooking and your transport method: a large stove makes sense if you’ll have your car close by, but won’t be practical if you’re hiking from one place to the next.
❤ From a single ring compact burner to a sturdy two-ring stove and grill, there’s plenty to choose from. Bear in mind that many of the larger stoves will require gas canisters: if you’re camping abroad, be sure to check that the
fuel source you need is available in that country.
