CARRY ON CAMPING

Bivvy City at Madine will be

a hive of activity with an opening night party, the

Gladiator Games and competitions and all with the exclusive use of

the campsite and its facilities

As everyone who has previously attended a World Carp Classic will confirm, the atmosphere generated in the build up to the opening ceremony is unique and charged with emotion. For your comfort and enjoyment, we will

have use of the Madine complex and all of its facilities throughout the duration of the event. So, if you fancy freshening up, the showers and toilets will be available to you. On the Saturday evening preceding

the event, it’s party time with DJ’s rocking Bivvy City ‘til the early hours! For those who would prefer a relatively quiet night, it might be prudent to pitch camp a little further away from the festivities to ensure a sound night’s sleep.

A Guide to Bivvy City

This year, Madine provides us with an exceptional site, and with a large number of contestants, runners, sponsors and other attendees, Bivvy City will be a thriving community prior to fishing. With the unique atmosphere of previous events in mind, Bivvy City 2015 is set to become legendary, and if there was ever any doubt that World Carp Classic contestants know how to enjoy this period of free time,

this year will surely end all speculation!

n How to get there We are delighted to say that this year, Bivvy City 2015 will be located in a lightly wooded area on the right-hand side of the new boardwalk area (looking towards it with your back to the lake) and a short, 200 metre walk from HQ, registration, the bars and where the activities will take place.

n Onsite Insight On the site there is a supermarket, with bars and restaurants. The site covers many hectares and is divided by a network of tree-lined groves and open areas that extend right down to the lake shore.

n Saturday 20.30 Bivvy City Party Night including food & beverage plus entertainment from EndFragment

Carp Connections gladiator games

Hans Sissingh of Carp Connections will once again be the master of ceremonies as entrants are put through their paces. In this highly entertaining not-to-be-missed spectacle, the typically madcap goings on are certain to attract attention… Don’t forget to enter this light-hearted and fun competition… with some nice prizes for the victorious Gladiators it’s very much a case of he who dares ... wins!
