GLADIATOR GAMES CARP CONNECTIONS
Special significance projects itself again
this year with the Event once again being held
in France, at the spiritual home of the competition, Lac de Madine
Hopefully, there will be no blood spilled in our light-hearted and fun-filled Gladiator Games event, and of course, we don’t expect that our gladiators will wish to fight to the death either. Thumbs down to that! But be warned, though, as we are sure that
Hans Sissingh will expect his pound of flesh as he puts the Gladiators through their paces in a typically madcap array of challenges. This unashamedly wacky event includes all manner of crazy themes and it is certainly a spectacle not to be missed even if you only want to watch. It’s very easy to enter and there will be
some great prizes awarded to the victorious combatants. But remember, this event is more about having fun than anything else, so come along and join in the frivolity even if it’s only to make fun of your friends who are competing in the games! The games are organised for participants
in the World Carp Classic Team Event (the sponsors teams), but anyone who can organise a team of 6 gladiators can enter. The proviso to that, however, is that there will be a limited number of teams allowed, so please be quick if you want to enter! – Please organise your team of 6 and go to HQ to register it in good time. This year, the area in front of the new
boardwalk, with its bars, restaurant and facilities will become the Gladiators Arena… We welcome everyone present to the World Carp Classic Gladiator Games and we encourage you all to make the most of the occasion!
Weight Lifting .. Have you ever caught a 30kg carp?? This event will see how you get on as and when you do. The winner will be the team that keeps the “carp” up the longest. We won’t be using 30kg carp in the competition we have 30kg of Dynamite baits that will be used instead!.
