What a fantastic event this was, held at Furzton lakes, Milton Keynes on the 23-26th July. This 70 acre lake promised plenty of action. The
event was hosted by Shimano and Dynamite baits and organised by Ross Honey’s Angling Spirit Team. The Thursday started off with a BBQ and a few drinks along with lots of great banter. competitors made their way to their swims and started setting up, patiently waiting for the hooter to sound the start of the competition. At 12 noon on Friday 24th we were away and with this came the typical British weather. At times the rain became absolutely torrential, but this changed nothing. With a £10,000 prize table provided by Shimano and Dynamite baits and a place in the WCC at Lac de Madine at stake, this was the real business. As the competition progressed a few fish started
