on his road trip through France and tells us of his 24 hour visit to Du Der Fishing Resort that his team won during the WCC 2014 in Bolsena
The moment WCC 2014 in Bolsena ended, my teammates and I knew we hadn’t won any prizes, due to the fact we only caught one fish.
Fishing an awesome location such as
Bolsena was an amazing experience, even without winning, we had an fabulous week and our other team from PB Products/Cobri Baits ended up third overall and proud is what we were! Well done guys! Now this is where it gets a bit complicated,
during the prize ceremony it became clear that we also didn’t win any prizes in the team category. The team category prize was won by Carpconnections. The team prize was a trip to Du Der fishing resort for the whole team! So Hans Sissing was kind enough to donate this prize to team PB Products, because during the competition we helped each other out. This was their way to show their appreciation. Thanks to their generosity, we were all heading for a trip to Du Der! On the 15th of May I arrived at the Du Der
fishing resort. I planned a road trip through France to fish several lakes, starting my trip at Etang de la Haije (JRC lake). Unfortunately, a few team members cancelled the invitation resulting in an almost empty JRC lake. Richard and Peter decided to fish the Lodge at swim 3, and I decided to setup camp at swim 1. The anglers from Shimano were fishing Berkley lake, and it was nice to see all those familiar faces again. I would only be spending 24 hours at the
bank, so I would have to come up with a really efficient way of fishing. Using a baitboat fitted with a sonar, Ifound some very interesting features. Etang de la Haije has a lot of different depths and interesting hot spots. The lake has
