ways, making scrapbooking even more creative.
Pictures can be improved, altered, inverted, coloured and edited in amazing ways, making them just perfect for making truly beautiful scrapbook pages.

Drop Shops
It’s not all about money........... while cash is essential to pay the
gas, electric and water bills in the nine homes Friends of the Children of Emaús are committed to helping, there are many things people can do that don’t involve money.
The thing is ..... don’t throw anything away that could possibly be useful! Friends of the Children of Emaús are happy to announce that Siesta Group, just south of Gata (on the N332) are now happy to receive anything you may have for the Children in care in Emaús Homes. Debbie & Mike will take in Children’s clothes, Toys, Women’s clothes (destined for the Mother and Children Shelter – where both the mothers and children need “everything”). Items for babies (for the Emaús baby’s home). Even furniture, beds and bedding may be delivered to Siesta Group. The nine Emaús Homes with children in our area of the Costa Blanca are all happy to accept second-hand items; the children arrive with nothing and are grateful for anything. Those items which do not find a home with the children will go to one of the Charity Shops which support them financially by donation. The Friends of the Children of Emaús work tirelessly for these Children who are greatly disadvantaged and who need care and support constantly.
More Drop Shops needed
Currently you can drop anything at Siesta Group in Gata – but we need other ‘One Stop Drop Shops’ for these things as well, if anyone can offer help. We need somewhere in Jalon, Alcalali, Denia, Calpe, Benidorm, Villa Joyosa, Campello, the mountain villages…………everywhere in our region in fact!
