County Durham - Heather View Owner Feature Park Leisure’s

1998 J

was a very important year

for Park Leisure, not only was it the year the company launched and bought its very first holiday park (Heather View) but it was also the year it got its very first Park Leisure owners. Nearly 16 years ago Adrian Guy and his wife Lesley were both looking for somewhere to escape the stresses and strains of everyday life, the couple had looked all over. Destinations ranged from

Yorkshire, the Lake District, even Spain and France. When one day the couple heard about Heather View through a trading contractor, and decided to pay a visit to the area staying in Wolsingham and visiting Heather View the very next day. “We both loved the park just as much and knew instantly that this was the one for us”. After all these years Adrian and Lesley still look forward to coming up each weekend and have seen the park improve with age.

a brick layer from Durham, only found an interest in wood work just before he retired, and has since taken it up as a hobby. This is the medium size rocking horse

which Mr Brown personally handcrafted for Steve which took around 5 months in total to complete. Mr Brown has only ever made two horses making one for his own grandkids and this one for Steve. Steve would like to say a massive thank
