A

t last with help from the unseasonably mild weather the park is taking shape ready for

re-opening in March. The Quarry is looking absolutely stunning along with the entrance, new play area, office and showground. I am sure all these improvements will give all owners a good idea of what is to come over the next two to three years regarding future developments. The maintenance team have been working tirelessly to ensure the park is in great shape ready to welcome everyone back to park, which has been a really difficult task taking into account all the construction work which has been going on. We are very fortunate to have four great guys with such an array of skills. You will be delighted to hear that Karey has put together a fantastic events programme for the season, kicking off with a welcome back reception on Saturday March 8th with wine and canapés between 4 and 6pm. On March 22nd there will be a viewing of the Quarry in all its glory, complete with the new lighting system, as well as providing sparkling wine and baked potatoes, although I am assured by Jonathan in sales they will be more than just any old baked spud!

There is a real buzz around not only

Leyburn but the whole of North Yorkshire this year with the impending Tour de France arriving in July, what better place to be than Yorkshire Dales Country Park to enjoy such a great atmosphere as well as being ideally situated to enjoy one of the biggest sporting events Yorkshire has ever seen.

So here’s to 2014, let’s make this the best season yet.
