Dales Festival of Food and Drink 3rd – 5th May Held in the bustling town of Leyburn, the Festival celebrates the best produce, food and recipes the area has to offer. With a huge range of exhibitors from farmers to cake shops, local ales, workshops, talks and demonstrations with theatre, dance and music this lively festival shows off the very best of Yorkshire.

Chipping Steam Fair 24th – 26th May The first ever Chipping Steam fair was held in 1998 to raise money for a new village hall, and its popularity and prestige has snowballed from there. Now the fair attracts visitors from miles around with its array of stalls and steam engine exhibitors.
Held at the Chipping Show Ground on the outskirts of the forest of Bowland the fair is a hit with nature lovers and steam train enthusiasts a like.

Ribble Valley Jazz Festival 1st – 6th May The festival opens on Thursday 1st May at Grindleton Pavillion, just 3 miles out of Clitheroe with the delectable sounds of Camerata Ritmata. Throughout the Bank Holiday weekend there will be a range of musicians from local players, school bands and famous names. If you love jazz music this is a must see.
