Syracuse University College of Law proudly offers one of the nation’s longest-running Law in London programs, where students learn from London’s leading legal practitio- ners. During an eight-week summer experi- ence, students gain international exposure to clients, partner with professionals for personalized mentoring, and enjoy boundless cultural opportunities.

This program offers students the opportunity to study comparative law in a cosmopolitan & historic setting. Visits include: London courts & government buildings, trips to Oxford & Cambridge, introducing students to British lawyers, jurists & academics. Students may live in the Worrell House, a private home owned by WFU, where classes are held. Ample time given to explore London & other cities.

You’ll study comparative law with professors, judges, and lawyers from the U.S. and the U.K. and take three in-depth courses that ex- plore legal issues of global importance. You’ll have time to travel, explore, and experience all that England has to offer. This year United States Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. will join us to teach The United States Supreme Court in Historical Perspective.

Students are welcome to apply from EU and Overseas Institutions. Students attend for Semester one (September to December). Stu- dent select five modules from a list provided by the Centre for Commercial Law Studies. Student would be assessed by 4,000 word essay for each module to be submitted by the end of the first term.

The study abroad programs offered through USD School of Law provide intensive training in international, comparative and foreign law, while introducing students to the legal institutions of another country. Our programs bring together students and expert faculty for a rich experience of academic and cultural interchange.
