The University of San Francisco summer law program takes place on the picturesque campus of Trinity College. More than 400 years old, Trinity College is located in the heart of Dublin. Much of Ireland’s history has transpired within or immediately outside the college walls. Irish Faculty will teach 3 of the 4 courses.
Study international law and conflict resolu- tion in two of Europe’s most exciting cities: Belfast and Dublin. Our legal summer study program in Ireland is officially cosponsored by Queen’s University Belfast and University College Dublin. This unique sponsorship allows you to take full advantage of all the resources of three major universities: a distinguished faculty, challenging courses, administrative support, and special events.
Quinnipiac University School of Law and Trin- ity College, Dublin offer a summer program on the campus of Trinity College, Dublin. The program offers three two-credit courses taught by faculty from Trinity and Quinnipiac. Students may elect to live on campus at Trinity. Tours of Irish legal institutions will be included.
Classes will be held at the University of Limerick on the banks of the Shannon River and the University College Dublin. Weekends will feature a tour of some of Western Ireland’s most scenic spots, a visit to the swinging Western city of Galway, two nights in city center Dublin, a pub dinner, and a “legal Dublin” tour of prominent Irish legal institutions.
Cost includes the following excursions in Bel- fast: government assembly at Stormont and the Ecclesiastical Capital City Armagh and a daylong tour on the North Coast with visits to Dunluce Castle, the Giant’s Causeway, and the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge. Dublin excursions include visits to parliament, the criminal courts and an optional hike around the Howth Peninsula.
