Earn up to 6 credits, with the opportunity to intern with Irish barristers and govern- ment and non-profit organizations. Choose from courses taught by Irish and American professors, including the courses listed above and Comparative Commercial Speech, The Legal and Institutional Consequences of the Eurozone Financial Crisis, and European Union Antitrust Law. Tuition includes field trips and events.
Taught by experts in the field from Ireland and the United States, the six-week program focuses on courses related to international and comparative human rights law and ac- countability for human rights violations. The program has attracted many distinguished visiting faculty members, including U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who will teach in this year’s program.
Study international law and conflict resolution in two of Europe’s most exciting cities: Belfast and Dublin. Courses will be taught in English and cover various legal fields, but all with an interna- tional or comparative component. They will be taught partly by Bar Ilan’s own professors and partly by visiting professors from leading law schools in North-America and Europe. Students are also welcome to sit in on regular courses taught to Bar Ilan students, if their knowledge of Hebrew allows.
With stunning beaches, fascinating history and nightlife, the cosmopolitan city of Tel Aviv provides an exciting place to live and study. The program is held at Bar Ilan Univer- sity Faculty of Law, Ramat Gan, Israel. Ramat Gan is part of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Externships are available.
