An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team of sonographers.


A new eight-roomed ultrasound department opened in May 2012 at the Northern General Site, which is equipped with high specification Ultrasound systems.


We offer excellent opportunities for experience or training in the following areas: General Abdominal, Musculoskeletal, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Vascular and Lithotripsy. You will rotate through departments, which will give you the opportunity to gain varied experience.


Optional flexible working patterns are available working full time hours (37.5) over 4 days per week, covering 7 days a week. Part time hours will be considered.


The Imaging Directorate is committed to training and development and encourages all aspects of CPD. Applications are invited from highly motivated imaging professionals who wish to work in a busy and well-supported team environment. You must hold a Pg Cert or Diploma in Medical Ultrasound in any of the disciplines mentioned above. If you have the skills we’re looking for or would like to broaden those you already have, then this could be the job for you. We look forward to hearing from you.
