Bev Bond, a radiographer at Worcester and Malvern Hospitals, attended the local high school’s careers evening to promote the profession.


Cheshire and Merseyside Treatment Centre in Runcorn had a great time celebrating and sharing information with patients and colleagues. Pictured are Laura Algrante, Kelly Ditchfield, Jan Reeves and Paula Evans.


Staff at Royal Preston Hospital, Lancashire, were joined by Helga, a radiographic positioning doll. Also pictured, from left, are Lisa Cocker, clinical tutor, Christine Hughes, assistant practitioner, Paula Podmore,and Lucy Holden, both third year students.


The Priory Hospital in Birmingham had a busy day with homemade cakes (with WRD icing) and a caption competition to win a tin of sweets. The event was publicised around the hospital and raised £60 for the Breakthrough Breast charity, as well as sharing valuable information about the profession. Last year, a hospital staff member was so impressed, she is now three months into her training as a diagnostic radiographer!
