EAST YORKSHIRE MRI STUDY DAY 26 April, Hull Royal Infirmary Come and join us in Hull for the first East Yorkshire MRI Radiographers Study Morning! A wide variety of speakers will present on a number of interesting and current issues in MR imaging. Topics include stroke imaging, general anaesthesia in the MRI
environment and discussions around current safety issues, amongst others. This also presents an excellent opportunity for MRI radiographers to get together and debate current thinking in the modality. The study day will take place in an informal setting and refreshments/ lunch will be included. Cost £30. For further information, contact

DUE TO GO ON MATERNITY LEAVE?
If you are an SoR member about to go on maternity leave then you are entitled to apply for a suspension of the membership subscription. Full member benefits continue throughout this period. *As of 1 October 2012, the suspension period will be extended from nine to 12 months. This extension does not apply to members who are already on maternity leave.
At the end of the suspension period the SoR will reinstate the direct debit instruction. If you are not returning to work immediately, or are returning on reduced hours, you should contact the SoR as you may be entitled to reduced rate membership.
Please contact the SoR in good time as it cannot give the relief retrospectively.

STUDY WEEKEND: THE MUSCULOSKELETAL SONOGRAPHERS SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP
10 – 11th May 2014 Postgraduate Medical Centre, Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust
This study weekend is being held by a group of musculoskeletal trained sonographers wishing to provide education and experience to those with no, or limited MSK ultrasound experience. The course is open to sonographers, physiotherapists, podiatrists, nurses or doctors wishing to gain experience and will consist of a mix of lectures and hands-on experience. Delegates will be able to choose to attend for either one day or both days, but please note that ALL sessions are only suitable for those with a sound knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation.
Places will be strictly limited to ensure all attendees gain maximum benefit from their participation. Programme
