Walnut Tree Farm Park

Owner of Walnut Tree Farm Park Phil Scrivens, a farmer for more than 50 years, has recently started a total refurbishment of the main barn.

A

brand-new cafe and restaurant has just been completed, with most of the refurbishment work being tackled by Phil’s son Jason and

grandson Leon. The new restaurant boasts a varied menu of

wholesome things to eat and enjoy while you visit the farm park, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers. You can enjoy light bites and snacks, cooked

breakfasts and delicious homemade main meals, as well as soft drinks, teas and coffee. Phil and his family are also starting work on a

fantastic new soft play area for children to enjoy. This state-of-the-art play area will feature loads

of fun things to climb, jump and swing over. Work is expected to start on this new design

proposal in the coming months, watch this space for more details. There are also new additions to the Walnut Tree Farm Park family, with baby calves and Shetland

ponies among many others for you to meet and greet. Come and make friends with the menagerie of

farm animals and learn all about the rare breeds, including the amazing Kune Kune pigs. Why not have a go at feeding the animals?

They are always happy to see friendly faces. With more than 80 acres of country walks,

including three fi shing lakes and gorgeous scenic views to take your breath away, you’ll ask yourself why you haven’t visited before. Take a tractor ride and explore the farm on fun

and sometimes bumpy tour. Or maybe race around the go-kart track? You can now pedal power your way around

the new course – just try to remember that this is for kids, not grownups. It so much fun you can see why everyone wants to have a go. For kids who love horses and ponies you can

treat them to a truly unique experience by taking one of these friendly and playful animals for a ride around the farm, there’s so many different things to do at the farm park, come rain or shine, anytime of the year. It’s an ideal place for children’s parties and

special events too. The party rooms are safe, secure and are amazing fun places to hold your event. The staff can even help you make arrangements to make your day extra special. There’s also a
