the release of their newest, technological item…. TextBuster. The TextBuster is a patent-pending device that will block the data functions of the driver’s phone only while inside the vehicle. This is accomplished by mounting a small, two-wire Bluetooth device under the dash, download the app to the driver’s phone and pairing the two. The Textbuster prevents the driver from accessing all text, e-mail or Internet functions while driving their vehicle, thus preventing distracted driving and accidents. This is done automatically every time the user enters the vehicle. TextBuster does not block incoming and outgoing phone calls or naviga- tion capabilities. The TextBuster also will not interfere with any other hands-free or Bluetooth items in the vehicle. A watchdog application monitors the users phone at all times to prevent tampering and reports with alert notifications to the parent, guardian or account manager.
