Sales Snapshot September saw a nice increase in higher ticket sales, with the percentage of retailers reporting average tickets over $700 jumping nine percent from last month. Tom Perez of Highend Vine Street Car Stereo in Philadelphia, Pa., attributed new Alpine navigation head units to his aver- age tickets, while Street Style in St Charles, Ill., credited a high-volume radar contract, according to Owner Paul Zaccaria. AV Mobile Sound and Security in North Baldwin, N.Y., saw a modest per-ticket increase as well. “Add-on subwoofer sales helped our numbers thanks to a great product from Bazooka,” said Owner Antoine Sinclair. “You can try it in the customer’s car to show how a sub can help a stock system.”
