2036. An exceptional and very attractive large Jaf Kurd khorjin face, north west Persia late 19th-early 20th century, 3ft.2in. x 2ft. 0.97m. x 0.61m. Slight even wear overall, mid-brown outlining to the rhomb motifs evenly corroded, small vertical worn crease in centre, slight losses to all four sides. A bag face with superb and lustrous wool and an exceptionally beautiful palette of nine colours - dark red, light red, dark blue, mid blue, dark emerald green, dark brown, mid brown, dark gold yellow, ivory. £300-500
