200. A late eighteenth century Scottish oak longcase clock, the 8 day movement striking on a bell, having an arched twelve inch brass and silvered dial, the lunette with a boss inscribed Tho. Spence, DYSART. Above a subsidiary second dial and a calendar, pierced cast mask gilt brass corner spandrels, the hood with swan neck pediment, the glazed door with brass capped pillasters, the trunk with a shaped top door having a brass escutcheon, the base on bracket feet. 6ft 10in (208cm). £600-800
