Fine beige damask tablecloth woven with classical figures, wild boar, deer, pheasant, hares, dolphins, seashells, acorns, grapevine, flowers and foliage, the central cartouche featuring banners woven with the words: Touch, Taste, Smell & Hear, probably 1930-40, 113in. x 84in., 105cms. x 88cms. together with a small collection of assorted table and bed linen including a pair of linen beige embroidered bedcovers. £100-200

1790. Attractive dress parure of matching pieces of écru silk needle lace comprising bodice front and narrow collar, skirt panel, 41in., 104cm., long, 6in., 15cm., wide at the top and 13in., 33cm., wide at the hem, and pair of cuffs, probably late 19th century although the design is influenced by 17th century needle lace. Good quality work in good condition, mounted on black paper. (5) £80-100

Fine lawn christening gown, early 20th century, with fine pin tucks and lace inserts to bodice, short sleeves, flaring front panel and deep hem, with fine cotton petticoat and pin tucked bonnet; together with 1930s silk net wedding veil and wax ‘orange blossom’ headpiece; burnt-orange silk bed jacket embroidered with cranes; black chiffon stole with raised velvet floral decoration; two pairs of kid evening gloves and five evening bags, variously black silk, silvered, beaded and sequinned with decorative clasps and mounts, 1930s and later. Small holes and slight rip to wedding veil. £80-100

Collection of lace comprising an attractive ivory net wedding veil, white embroidered with all over floral sprays; deep floral corners and border, 80in. square; 203cms. square; few small holes; cream net stole embroidered and appliquéd with flowers and foliage, each end with a similarly worked joined border, small holes and some time stains; cream net flounce embroidered with ribbon tied flowers; small holes; net cap with deep lace floral border and crown, possibly Honiton, with fabric flower decoration; small lace flounce with silk robe tie; Carrickmacross lace dress front and two collars; embroidered net blouse with short sleeves and a whitework lawn handkerchief, worked with flowers and foliage to each corner and to the scalloped border, the centre embroidered initials ‘MB 1872’. Collection of linen and baby clothes including three white embroidered lawn short sleeved toddler’s dresses; four white lawn embroidered toddler’s petticoats; long lawn petticoat with lace inserts; two white cotton babies nightdresses; satin striped fine cream cotton bassinet cover intricately embroidered with flowers and with lace and cream satin ribbon inserts; embroidered net edging, part satin lined and with cotton ties; together with a large double top sheet with monogram ‘M R’; Madeira work place mats and napkins; assorted table linen; babies bibs; net table centre worked ‘Neptune’; two gentleman’s handkerchieves, one with a damask border of coats of arms; two cream silk handkerchieves with lace borders; and a lawn ‘marriage’ handkerchief with deep white floral embroidered border; and a black floral embroidered net stole. Five cushions, four needlework and one painted velvet, one red tent stitch ground worked with flowers; one with appliquéd embroidered panel of finches among foliage; circular cushion with finely worked flowers and foliage; oblong cushion with a central band of Greek embroidery; the fifth cushion of painted velvet depicting various fruit. The embroidery 19th/20th century; the cushions 20th century. All with varying degrees of damage, splits and wear. Sold as a collection with all faults not subject to return. £40-80
