1758. Four attractive Indian shawls, variously yellow, green and beige gauze grounds, all embroidered in coloured silks; three embellished with sequins; with all over flowers and two within narrow floral borders; the fourth of fine ivory gauze with scattered tiny floral motifs within a narrow embroidered, sequined and beaded border. All mid 20th century. Probably made for the export market. (4)
