A Car Show for the Community
Staying involved with the car community is on the priority list for Innovative Car & Styling Shop Owner Bryan Piper. For this reason, he recently held one of many car show events at his shop. “I remember the days of hanging out with other car people in a parking lot and getting run off by the owners or police,” Piper said. “Being that this is my shop, I am able to give these groups a place to come and hang out.”
The show raised
money for the Humane Society. It was quite a success, as Piper said he raised nearly $300 in less than three hours. The team at Innovative
Cars & Styling didn’t just host a car show; they had a party. Local bands were brought in to play and barbeque vendors were on site for the attendees. The event welcomed about 60 vehicles, some of which included vehicles of previous customers.
Piper is clearly not new to car show
hosting. An event he had a few months prior brought almost 90 vehicles to the shop and over 200 spectators. Piper said he enjoys hosting these shows not only because of his love of cars, but also because he enjoys talking to people and making them aware of the shop. Thanks to the show, the shop not only raised money for the Humane Society, it gained new customers.
TV Interview Spotlights Local Retailer
In Independence, Mo., National Auto Sound & Security recently was interviewed by a local news station in a four- part series about ramping up the security on vehicles due to the extreme hike of car thefts in the metro area. During the interviews, the retailer discussed upcoming LEDs, paging or two-way alarm systems, smart start systems, and how to get a standard car alarm system for cheap. The interview was the third TV spot they’ve done in more than 10 years.
National Auto Sound & Security Manager Ben Marr viewed the TV interview as great free advertising. He said customers have been coming into the shop mentioning the interviews.
