in-cosmetics 2012, which contains Arctiin (70%) as a main active.


Arctium lappa (Burdock) seed has been eaten and used as folk medicine for anti- inflammation and anti-allergy for more than 3,000 years in both oriental and western medicine. Arctium Seed Extract shows excellent anti-ageing and skin regeneration properties with GAG synthesis, anti-glycation, anti-inflammatory, anti- oxidant, collagen synthesis and collagenase activity inhibition effect. Arctium Seed Extract is approved as a functional anti-wrinkle ingredient in Korea. BIOLAND is also launching Magnolia Sieboldii Extract,


which is registered as a functional skin whitening ingredient in Korea. Magnolia Sieboldii Extract shows significant depigmenting, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation inhibition, DOPA auto-oxidation inhibition and anti-oxidant effects.
