The CED (European Centre of Dermocosmetology) is a French professional association whose aim is to promote scientific dermocosmetology at a national and international level in matters of research, industry and education and to be a link between the industry, the main research laboratories and a meeting place for dynamic professional exchanges. Since 1966, the CED has been organizing in Lyon the “European Dermocosmetology Days”, a scientific convention which attracts leading figures of the national and international cosmetic industries and research laboratories (simultaneous English translation). The XXVIth meeting will be held in Lyon on February 7 and 8, 2013 and the subject will be “Dermocosmetology contribution to healing”. The first announcement will be available on our stand.

The first laboratory in the world dedicated to research on the five senses CERTESENS (The Centre for Studies and Research on Sensory Technology) was created within François Rabelais University of Tours. Covering 700 m², the structure houses spaces is dedicated to experimentation, sensation assessment rooms and a material library. The objective is to study the perception mechanisms in humans and the impact on the latter’s behaviour so as to help companies to design products which meet consumer’s sensory needs. The project was initiated by RCP design, CQFDgustation and Spincontrol.
