MEETING PLACE FOR GLOBAL PLANT BUYERS One of the strengths of IPM Essen is its global representation. The Italian hall (6) is very well advanced for 2012. Hall 5 will once again be completely occupied with exhibitors from Denmark with exhibitors from 14 nations represented on co-operative booths. The booth areas for the Dutch and Polish exhibits have grown substantially as has the Spanish co-operative booth in Hall 9. One new feature will be a co- operative booth of Thai companies.


‘GREEN CITY’ EXPERTISE Covering 5,000 sqm, the Green City in Hall 1A will be an important meeting place for associations, institutions and service providers in the green sector. Zentralverband Gartenbau e. V. (ZVG - Central Horticultural Association), Landesverband Gartenbau Rheinland e. V. (Rhineland Federal State Horticultural Association) and Landesverband Westfalen- Lippe e. V. (Westphalia-Lippe Federal State Horticultural Association) will present their comprehensive spectrum of services in the Horticultural Information Centre.


BREEDER SHOWCASE The Innovation Showcase has become firmly established and, this year, will take place for the fifth year running.


A knowledgeable jury will choose the best new breeds which will be distinguished during the opening ceremony of IPM Essen.


RED GOLD POT BRINGS FESTIVE CHEER! The new Red Gold Pot from Laurica Plants took the garden centre sector by storm ahead of the festive season. Laurica Plants will be present at IPM Essen in January when the new catalogue/price list for 2012 will be available.
