SOLVE EFFLORESCENCE

WITH SALT AWAY Following the success of Cemstrip – Everbuild’s “environmentally friendly cement remover” the company is pleased to announce the launch of another innovative surface treatment - Salt Away. Salt Away removes salt and unsightly white efflorescence from bricks, stone and concrete and Everbuild reports that it has already proved a huge success. Efflorescence is commonly caused when soluble salts within building materials, or dissolved salts are transferred into building materials by water. At the water containing these salts then evaporates it leaves behind unsightly white deposits. As any builder will know, if left untreated efflorescence can cause corrosive damage to many building surfaces as well as making an eye-sore of a brilliant job. Salt-Away is available in both a 5-litre jerry can and a 1-litre spray bottle so every application need is covered. To find out why there’s ‘something about Salt- Away’ as well as the other products in Everbuild’s range of surface treatments please contact your Everbuild sales representative! p
