2,000 different plant varieties are now produced for over 1,600 grower customers. Delamore Young Plants has 12 independent cash and carry outlets up and down the country. During 2011 four new ones were appointed at Wyevale East (Kent), Rushtons (Ormskirk), Growforth (Fife) and Montgomery’s (Maghera). All cash and carry outlets have been carefully selected with a good base of customers, easy accessibility, a good variety of plants, and a well managed operation.

ON-SITE CASH & CARRY SET FOR EXPANSION The on-site Cash & Carry at Delamore’s headquarters is set to expand by 50 per cent in 2012; the building process has begun and it should be up and running by spring 2012. The new site will cover 3,000 square metres, while the existing site only covers 1,500
square metres. The new premises will include a new outdoor area for hardy nursery stock, more finished products for the professional gardener, florists and existing customers and a more extensive range of sundries. A much larger range of stock will also be a huge
draw for the trade.
