Sankey’s tools fly before the snow falls!
With Britain braced for an artic blast of cold weather, Sankey says it has seen its range of snow tools fly off the shelves at retailers. Weather forecasters are predicting freezing weather and snowfall for November, December, January and February – with the potential to break low temperature records. Clare Hooley, brand manager for Sankey, says, “We launched our snow shovel at Glee this year and it’s been tremendously popular. Garden centres have been stocking up since the autumn period and it’s really hitting the mark for consumers who want to be prepared for the winter. We’ve had two cold winters and it looks like we’re in for a third. British people really need to equip themselves for their own safety.” Sankey’s Snow Shovel & Pusher (RRP £9.99) has a 40cm wide scoop with a metal edge at the blade for added durabliity. There is also a smaller snow shovel that’s designed to fit in the boot of a car with an RRP of £8.99.
