The latest V1 pro-swing analysis training system, as well as a state-of-the-art fitting system and an Explanar training aid are also available. The 27-hole national championship course weaves through undulating terrain that features palms trees and shrubs, as well as nine spectacular saltwater lakes. Overlooking the golf course is the stunning club- house, built in the shape of a falcon swooping down on a golf ball. As well as a Mediterranean restau- rant, a sushi bar and a fine-dining restaurant, the clubhouse boasts a fully-equipped executive meeting room and an extensive sports and fitness club. Abu Dhabi City Golf Club
Abu Dhabi City Golf Club is located in the Mushrif area, in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The nine-hole, par 70 floodlit course is set in the middle of a racetrack, offering golfers a novel set of challenges.
There are attractive water features spread around the course and despite hav- ing only nine holes, there is a set of alternate tees for the back nine, providing an entirely unique playing experience. The par 70 course offers an interesting game for players of all levels.
The Golf Academy includes the UAE's first two-tiered driving range with a specially designed long and short game area. Other facilities on the premises include three floodlit tennis courts, a gym, swimming pool and a pro shop. The clubhouse has a semi-formal atmosphere and houses the 19th Street
Restaurant & Bar and a large banqueting area. Nearby facilities include an international racecourse, a spectacular show jumping area and riding school located on the premises adjacent to the course.
Saadiyat Beach Golf Club The Gary Player-designed Saadiyat Beach Golf Club opened at the start of 2010, becoming Abu Dhabi's first beachfront golf course. Managed by Troon Golf, the 18-hole par 72 amphitheatre-style course features several beach-front holes. About one third of the course commands spectacular views of the Gulf's glittering, crystal waters fringed by pristine white sand. The imaginative course routing provides a spectacular variety of golf experiences, with every hole having its own unique char- acter. From the creation of an aquatic habitat, to the introduction of salt-water lagoons and restoration of the beach and sand dunes, the course has been designed with strict eco guidelines and sensitivity to the surrounding natural environment. Shaped in a figure eight, the course is designed so that golfers don't ever have to play the same hole twice. Saadiyat Beach Golf Club provides world-class amenities and is the only daily pay-and-play facility in the Middle East.
Yas Links Yas Island is another massive multi-use development featuring a stunning, professionally designed golf course that aspires to become a must-play for the world's golfing aficionados. The Kyle Phillips-designed links course lies on the west shores of Yas Island, featuring an 18-hole course, a six-hole academy course, clubhouse, golf academy and floodlit practice facilities. The Andalucia clubhouse has a variety of locations for guests to relax after playing a round. There's a sports bar, fine dining restaurant, male and female locker rooms, a pro shop and an outdoor pool and croquet lawn. The wildlife and sea life in this area are of immense ecological significance and this course is designed to preserve and protect. In the northern section of the island, tucked into a residential community and bordered by a 200-room five-star hotel, it is a different course catering to golfers of all levels.
Al Ghazal Golf Club
Al Ghazal Golf Club is an 18-hole, 6,711-yard, par-71 sand golf course situated just 400 metres from the Abu Dhabi International Airport terminal. It is ideal for transit passengers, for whom free transit visas and complimentary transporta- tion is arranged by the club.
