Hotel options

Seven hotels opened on Yas Island ahead of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, six of which are operated by internationally renowned brands, while the iconic Yas Hotel is managed by Aldar Hotels & Hospitality. With Abu Dhabi hotels boasting high occupancy rates in recent years, finding rooms that can host events for between 500 and 1,000 people has not been easy. But having seven hotels on Yas Island has gone some way to partially addressing the issue. The five-star, 500-room Yas Hotel is the flagship property for the hotels cluster. It is positioned half on land and half in the Yas Marina and straddles the Yas Marina Circuit. Visually, it is completely unique with an eye-catching grid shell cloaking the property.

The Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Yas Island offers 428 rooms, including a Club Floor and 45 suites. The property has comprehensive meetings facilities with a 500 square-metre ballroom, divisible into four; a boardroom capable of accommodating up to 80; and three meeting rooms, each with a capacity for 50 delegates. Sister property Staybridge Suites Abu Dhabi Yas Island targets the extended- stay market, offering an alternative to a conventional hotel for those who need
