"By consistently providing first-rate service and state-of-the-art facilities, we will establish ourselves as the major sports hub for regional events, setting new standards for international sports and leisure experiences, while contributing significantly to the economic growth of the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Mr Nagib says the resort was built to nurture local sporting talents and help establish Abu Dhabi as a top international sports destination. It was also created to provide a "unique facility for hosting corporate and team building events, enriching the social and leisure life of Abu Dhabi by providing a healthy, competitive and relaxing environment for families and friends with fun and entertainment for all ages".
