especially as I was already considering doing the course,” says Paul. “I’ve been in the sign trade 12 years and started Style Signs five years ago. We do general signage work, vehicle graphics, banners, shop signs, magnetic signs etc., but recently we’ve been getting an increasing number of enquiries for vehicle wraps.” Paul attended the vehicle wrapping
course in October and says he has come away with a lot of knowledge. “It was brilliant; it taught me so much. Not
just wrapping, but also about different vinyls and what materials to use. It was very thorough and I learnt a huge amount about the techniques, tools, heating, temperatures and preparation.” “I would definitely recommend the course
to other signmakers. Although I was lucky enough to win a free place, I would have con- sidered it well worth the full price. It was good also to see the facilities at William Smith’s premises. Everyone was very helpful and kind.” New opportunities are already opening
up for Paul. Since completing the course he has already been asked to wrap roofs, mirrors and the rear doors of a Transit van. “I shall practice on my own vehicle first to gain confidence in the process and then I will
