ITC launches new Back Chamfering Series
To complement its new range of drilling products, ITC has now launched its new 4111 Cyber Series of back chamfering and countersinking tools. The new series has been developed at the company’s Tamworth manufacturing plant to conduct front and back chamfering or circular interpolation countersinking of holes and slots in a variety of materials. This new development is the result of extensive R&D work
and customer consultation that now sees ITC provide an extremely productive range of countersink tools that can offer remarkable tool life. ITC claim the four flute tools extend tool life credit to the ultra wear resistant micro grain carbide composition that enables the solid carbide series to outperform competitor products. The 4111 Series incorporates a staggered tooth design
and 90 degree inclusive angle that leads to smooth cutting and improved surface finishes whilst the rigid design further enhances finishes and tool life. To further extend tool life, the series is also available with an AlTiN coating. The new series is available in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12mm diameters with a 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9mm respective cut length. Beside the standard dimensions of the 4111 Series, ITC
can modify tools to meet the specific needs of the end user at its high specification CNC manufacturing facility. Alternately cutters can be tailor made to meet the exact needs of the end user.
