LIVERPOOL Signmakers
Regional offices provide local service for Pearce Signs customers
The rapidly expanding Pearce Signs Group recently opened its new offices in Warrington, under the name of Pearce Signs Northern Ltd, in order to service the Northern region. This move takes the group to having three regional offices, with a fourth on the way, and enables the company to offer a localised quality service throughout the UK. The Northern office has a portfolio of new major retail clients
and has successfully completed prestigious signage projects for several high profile clients in the region. For the re-branding of Morecambe FC’s new stadium, Pearce
Signs Northern was contracted to manufacture and install a combination of different types of illuminated LED signage, including built up stainless steel letters, a double sided monolith sign and internal and external wayfinding signage. The client was so pleased with phase 1 of the illuminated signage to the main stand that they awarded the contract to Pearce for the internal and external wayfinding signage. Recently, Pearce also completed the external signs on the
refurbished Jack Jones building in Liverpool, the head office of the union Unite. Fabricated aluminium logos and acrylic fascia panels internally illuminated with low energy/low emission LED lighting was used and colour changing lighting technology adds to the visual impact of the building, which has since been put up for two architectural awards. Pearce signs Northern is currently working on two further high
profile projects in Liverpool, one on the Atlantic Pavilion in the Albert dock and the other at the impressive new design and build offices in St Paul’s Square Liverpool. For this project a four metre high, internally illuminated number “4” is shortly to be installed above the glazed entrance, floating off the glazed facade of the building. This project has been 12 months in design and development and will be a stunning addition to the building.
Despite the tough economic situation, the Pearce Signs Group
is looking forward to busy times this year with a number of major retail clients already on board and new clients coming through. The group is proud of its tradition as a top quality signage
manufacturer, is ISO 9001-08 accredited and recently achieved ISO 14001 and 18001 accreditations, which illustrates a serious commitment to both customers and the environment. For further information, telephone 01925 594473 or email
