Havells Sylvania’s new Superia CMI lamps with elliptical burners are more efficient and provide longer-lasting colour stability compared to previous generation, cylindri- cal burners. Their unique, one-piece ellipti- cal arc tube construction provides highly efficient, brilliant light with best-inclass colour rendering. The three available lamp formats, CMI-T, CMI-TC and CMI-TD are suitable for a wide range of fixtures – from recessed downlights to accent spotlights, wall mounted uplights and pendants. They perform at their best in retail and display lighting, shop windows, museums, galleries, lobbies and cultural venues. www.havells-sylvania.com

The newly developed Powerball HCI-TX/ P is the smallest high intensity discharge lamp with explosion protection on the market. Its twist & lock base makes lamp replacement very easy and also allows for the precise positioning inside the reflector, thus ensuring optimum light distribution. With a light output of up to 100 lm/W, the lamp is highly ef- ficient and available in 35 and 70 Watt versions. This allows the very economi- cal operation of light installations using the Powerball HCI-TX/P. www.osram.com

OTHER GEAR

Power Supply Series Zenaro

V-Light

Global LightZ V-Lights can be voltage-controlled to produce any colour between 2,000 and 10,000 Kelvin. When set to the same voltage, every specimen will produce exactly the same colour. Colour devia- tion between specimens of the same type, a common problem in LEDs, does not occur in V-Lights. In contrast to LEDs, e3 lamps can thus be used without binning, i.e. without having to assign each specimen to one of several “bins” or colour groups. www.global-lightz.de

An electronic power supply is a criti- cal component when designing any LED lighting fixture. Zenaro’s power supply series provides LED Indoor/Outdoor lighting engineers and designers with four different types of power consump- tions: 54W, 66W, 102W and 132W. The entire series has passed ENEC certifica- tion and are guaranteed over 5 years / 80.000 hours. Several US versions includ- ing UL approval will also be available by Q3/2010 www.zenarolighting.com
